MR2 Championship 2024 Round 11 - Croft - Car 59, Andy Baranowski

Croft is the only circuit on the MR2 Championship calendar that I had never driven. I thoroughly enjoyed the circuit and my laptimes continually improved throughout the day.
I once again made an awful start, smoking the rear tyres and dropping multiple places on the run to turn 1. But after forcing a mistake from Chris at the final hairpin I managed to regain this position.
After the tyre stacks were moved by Danny Bryant's car (right in front of me!) the safety car had to intervene. Danny was able to continue and on the restart just managed to squeeze down the side into Tower bend - I was sure i'd closed the door well enough but ended up having to give way as 3 wide would never have ended well. A very enjoyable race, 4th in class and 7th overall!
