00:46 Step 1: Cut out all of your material!
** Tier 1: 2 pieces (11in x26 in)
** Tier 2 : 2 Piece (9 in x 40 in)
** Tier 3 : 2 Piece (12in x 60 in)
** Tier 4: 4 Piece (15in x 60 in)
USE STICKY NOTES AS A REMINDER FOR THE TIERS!

02:15 Step 2: Sew all vertical seams so that all tiers are attached, creating individual circles per tier. Be sure to treat your raw edge, such as serging pinked shearing, or zigzag stitching.

03:23 Step 3: Fold each tier in half to find your center front and center back. (Since there are 3 pieces for tier 4, keep one seam as the center back, fold it in half to find the center front and the marking for your side seam.)

03:53 step 4: Hem tier 4! IRON! IRON! IRON!

5:04 Step 5: Create 2 rows of basting stitches stopping 1/2 inch before the seam. on the top of Tier 2, 3, and 4. FOr more information on gathering check out this gathering vid!

6:06 Step 5: create the gathers for tier 2, 3, and 4.

08:07 Step 6: sew the gathers in place. Top of tier 2 to the bottom of tier 1.
Top of Tier 3 to the bottom of tier 2.
Top of tier 4 to the bottom of tier 3.
Treat the raw edge so that it does not fray.

11:09 Step 7: Topstitch the horizontal seams so that the gathers lay flat.

12:21 Step 8: Create Waistband
