The Faculty of Health Sciences, MAHSA University will host a webinar entitled “Role of Physiotherapist to handle micro gravity for space sailors”.

Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in preparing astronauts for space missions (pre-rehabilitation) and helping them recover after returning to Earth (post-rehabilitation). Space travel exposes astronauts to various physical challenges, including muscle and bone loss, cardiovascular deconditioning, and sensory-motor alterations due to the microgravity environment. Physiotherapy helps counter these ill effects.
