Hunting for Supersymmetry | ATLAS Physics at LHC Run 3

Описание к видео Hunting for Supersymmetry | ATLAS Physics at LHC Run 3

The search for new physics enters a new era in the third run of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC Run 3). ATLAS scientists like Javier Montejo Berlingen will be able to look for new possibilities in supersymmetry.

Supersymmetry (SUSY) offers an elegant solution to the limitations of the Standard Model, extending it to give each elementary particle a “superpartner” with different spin properties.

With improved reconstruction capabilities, physicists will be able to test new models and masses of supersymmetric partners. They can now search for particles that are difficult to find, are rarely produced or are extremely heavy.
