GB: Airfield and departure of flight DE1429 leaving Tenerife to Düsseldorf. A lot to laugh at departure: no cooling device as asked for by pilot available from airport. Waiting in great heat. Pleased about half empty aircraft until authorities informed pilot that a bus with more passengers did not find the aircraft.
After arrival in Düsseldorf approx 23.00h no way to leave the plane because no staircase available... Pilot was told company responsible for them no longer available and has to be contacted.... When exit finally possible approx 180 people were bus driven to baggage claim but had to remain there because doors shot. Again exit problems until finally solved midnight. Never experienced before but pilot took it with humour and passengers likewise.
