The home is made from a pair of recycled shipping containers aligned in parallel, creating a depth of space unexpected in container living. The interior is contemporary and sleek contrasting its container steel exterior and marine life of the containers. The habitable area of the unit is 55 sqm. The home accommodates the following salient features; two bedrooms one with a queen bed and the second bedroom fitted with a bunk bed. There is a full bathroom with modern sanitary ware. N open living room in the center of the house accommodated a cozy living room with modern furniture, dining table for 6, and an open a fully fitted kitchen with Breakfast Island for 2. The flooring is made of Blackbutt engineered Australian hardwood. The ceiling is covered in poplar plywood with recessed smart LED lighting. The interior walls are lined with plywood and painted with Resene alabaster. The interior of the container spaces are painted white to make the spaces feel brighter and spacious hence killing that claustrophobic feel of living in a container box. The grooves of the raw shipping container roofs are visible throughout the exterior, which adds to the industrial design of the home. The exposed Corten steel exterior is painted in Hempel matt black, a paint that's specific for containers. At the front, in between the full height glazed opening, there is an added feature pillars of western red cedar flanking both side of the full height aluminum windows on both sides of the front facade.
