This is the way I measure and calculate adjustments for critical shots.
There’s more than 1 way to accomplish what I’m showing, but it’s up to you to find out what’s comfortable for you within the shot clock time frame.

Also, For a no spin shot using a rough/sand club, I’ll use +10% elevation for under 50% slider and +15% for over 50% slider (on level ground) to compensate for the secondary wind effect (SWE)

Using backspin will reduce SWE and you could use less elevation adjustment for longer slider % shots.

Shooting uphill is a little different (or shooting up out of a bunker) SWE has a smaller effect as the ball has less time in the air to travel. So I started with +10% (instead of +15%) for my usual SWE adjustment and guessed the real elevation from bunker to fairway to be -20% for a final adjustment of -10%

Other factors to consider:
Adjusting the target uphill/downhill, this will shorten/lengthen your shot, look up videos explains 1159/1201 adjustments + changes in elevation.

Bumpy ground: you are using elevation % for adjusting the ball to get it in the hole, not trying to land the first shot exactly where you made your adjustment from (this is how the EB rule method works) This means that if you’re adjusting over a bumpy fairway/green, your first bounce may inadvertently offset your ball from your final target.
