The most wonderful Bird Sanctuary In Beautiful Northern Europe

If you have not already been here - then you owe it to yourself to come here to observer the many birds that arrive here during the Spring or Autumn migration.

The best Bird watching Destinations in North of Europe during the autumn migration must be Mølen Larvik, Norway.

A total of 316 different bird species have been observed in Mølen
230 burial mounds from the 230 AD are found in Mølen
Rare species will often show up on here.

Equipment you should bring:
Shoes: Waterproof hiking boots
Food: Recommended
Clothes: Windproof hiking wear
Binoculars: Essential
Telescope: Recommended

Today I went here with my son, mother and father.

Weather was 20 Centigrades, clear skies and sunshine, but mother nature had not left here promise - lots of wind at the tip of Mølen headland.

I wore my waterproof camouflage jacket and was toasty warm, but the wind did spoiled some of the video I filmed to to to excessive shake - but still I managed to film some waders today.

The birds was skittish today as several Eurasian sparrowhawk flew above our heads. So if you like birds of prey then come here during the autumn migration and you have a better chance of spotting these beautiful birds.

This place is also a popular hiking destination so come early and during weekdays for a better experience. Also bring food and something to drink as there is no store here. Parking is free. There is no bird observatory here.
