Where to stay in Malapascua Island, Cebu?
There are only a few vlogs featuring beach resorts in Malapascua Island and thought of going to the island to feature a resort. It was my first time to visit Malapascua Island in Cebu and had a hard time choosing which Malapascua beach resort to book. I solely relied to online reviews (which were mostly outdated as these were reviews pre-pandemic) and chose Ocean Vida Resort as it is the highest rated in terms of customer service.

I should say that the long travel from Manila going to Cebu City then Malapascua island specifically to Ocean Vida Resort is worth it! I can now say that Malapascua island is truly a beautiful destination in The Philippines!

Apart from Malapascua's natural beauty, staying in Ocean Vida Resort's sea view room was really nice! The view from morning until sunset is so picturesque and relaxing! And not to mention the good food they serve and the customer service!

How to get to Malapascua Island from Manila?

1. Fly from Manila to Cebu (Mactan airport)
2. From Mactan airport, ride a cab going to Cebu North Bus terminal (travel time: 20 minutes)
3. In Cebu North Bus terminal, ride a bus going to Maya port (travel time: 4 to 5 hours)
4. In Maya port, ride a boat going to Malapascua island (travel time: 30 minutes to 1 hour)
5. I walked from Malapascua port to Ocean Vida. Took me 5 minutes. :)

Note that it is faster if you will book a van from Mactan Airport to Maya Port. In my case, I took a bus since I'm traveling solo and it'll be too expensive if I'll hire a van alone.
