1. Lady Shri Ram College For Women, New Delhi
Founded in 1956, Lady Shri Ram College for women is one that has not just survived but has established itself as the top college for pursuing a degree in arts in the country. With a three-year undergraduate course costing a little over Rs. 60,000, the college has a very active placement cell. Students are encouraged to go for internships while pursuing the course, during which they make Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month.
