Rajasthan BJP Leaders Object To ‘Mughal Tent’ At JLF; Producer Stands By Name

The BJP on January 20 objected to the organisers of the Jaipur Literature Festival naming one of its venues Mughal Tent. Rajasthan BJP MLA Ram Lal Sharma in a video questioned the organizers and said they should have “considered the historical culture of this land.” Sanjoy K Roy, managing director of Teamwork Arts, which produces more than 25 acclaimed arts and literary festivals including JLF in 40 cities, said the BJP leader was entitled to his opinion.
