In the days after one of the best patches to come to Stalker 2, there are still many issues plaguing players and leaving us wanting more when it comes to the combat AI. Let's take a deeper look at how the NPCs interact with the player in combat.

There's a lot of talk online about what can be done to make the AI better in Heart of Chornobyl. Here, I'll be demonstrating some of the AI's capabilities since patch 1.5 was released, showing their strengths and weaknesses in fighting, searching for the player, suppressive fire, flanking and maneuvering, taking cover, and more.

Some of the AI's biggest flaws will also be shown in this video, including seeing in the dark, deafness to certain audio cues, seeing through foliage, and taking cover in odd places. Solving even a few of these problems would be a game changer. Small problems make a big difference!
