At 4,342 feet, Mount Saint Helena towers above the Napa Valley. On the climb up to the summit, visit the honeymoon bunkhouse site of Robert Louis Stevenson. Trek through trees & brush burned during the Tubbs fire in 2017. Since the mountain is part of the Sonoma Volcanics, expect a wide spectrum of volcanic rock. Enjoy spectacular vistas as you climb higher or hikers might be in clouds that gather around the summit. There may even be snow. In any event, this is a rewarding hike.
