How to Join Granny Squares as You Go (NO SEWING!!)

Описание к видео How to Join Granny Squares as You Go (NO SEWING!!)

It is finally here! This is the tutorial for the beautiful "Join As You Go" technique I used in my crocheted sampler blanket. You don't do any sewing with this join - the squares are crocheted together on the final round of this joining method. This join is very pretty, with a twisted look and lays flat unlike the traditional JAYG method! You can adapt this join technique to other styles too such as granny squares and solid motifs, and I briefly explain how to do this at the end of the tutorial.

This JAYG method is inspired by the Flat Braid Join that can be found here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...

This sampler blanket is made using patterns from a range of designers, with my own joining method and border. There will be a tutorial on how to design and make yourself a sampler blanket using different patterns and I am hoping to have this up by Monday 10th April 2023. If you just can't wait I explained how I made it in this podcast:
