Скачать или смотреть Revisiting Steven Soderbergh's The Good German (2006)

For today's video, I'm revisiting Steven Soderbergh's underrated 2006 gem, The Good German, starring George Clooney, Cate Blanchett and Tobey Maguire. It's based on a post-war novel by Joseph Kanon and as such, Soderbergh crafted the film to resemble the 1940s black and white classics the novel loosely resembled. In some ways, it was David Fincher's Mank before Mank.

Me being a gigantic fanboy for both Soderbergh and Fincher, I found this minor overlap between two filmmakers who otherwise couldn't be more opposite and thought it a good film to revisit before their respective new releases this month (the aforementioned Mank from Netflix and HBO Max's Let Them All Talk).
