@evoIndia x AJAI on the Bharat Drive | Driving the Scorpio-N in Arunachal via the Sela Tunnel

Welcome to an exhilarating expedition with the Scorpio N supported by the newly formed Automotive Journalists Association of India (AJAI) as we head to Arunachal. One of the association’s first major initiatives was conducting Bharat Drive where 12 of the most reputed automotive publications in the country came together to explore the synergy between road infrastructure development and democracy in India. evo India chose to navigate the unpredictable climate and rugged terrain of the Northeast.

We were handed the keys to the Mahindra Scorpio N in Guwahati and tasked with a drive up to Tawang to find out how much progress this region has made in the recent past. Key infrastructure projects like the Sela tunnel project and the smooth surfacing of Balipara-Tawang road are key contributors to better access to the upper reaches of the Himalayas. We find out how this has helped locals and the armed forces in the region.

In collaboration with Mahindra, JK Tyres equipped us with a new set of Ranger H/T tyres, which ensured optimal performance on this challenging journey. Join us on this journey as we uncover the transformative impact of road infrastructure in India
