Chawbatty Beach was top on our list to visit when we arrived in Mumbai. We had a fantastic afternoon and evening. We did not know, but Diwali celebrations were taking place. We stared with kulfi Indian ice cream, and we absolutely loved it. Walking on the beach, so many people chatted, and we took lots of photos. It was great to meet some fantastic people. We had some street food and couldn't believe the size of the dosa they served us.... it was extra delicious. The Diwali celebrations were beautiful flags singing drums lights. What a fantasti9c time spent at Chawpatty Beach we will be back.

The celebrations generally last five or six days.
