EMOTIONAL INTERVIEW WITH VIETNAM WAR VETERANS AT VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL: WASHINGTON, D.C. (4K)

As we were approaching the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., my sister pointed out that there were some Vietnam Veterans at the wall. I asked if I could interview these former Marines and they graciously accepted. It was 50 years to the day that they lost some of their comrades in battle and in fact, at least two of these gentlemen were wounded in battle in Vietnam. I think it was this type of reunion and this type of conversation that Maya Lin envisioned when she originally designed the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. We owe these veterans and others like them our sincere gratitude and thanks. It was a honor and privilege to speak with these true American heroes!
