The video highlights features of the regen graphics engine. In this demo you can see:

a few assets loaded from files with the help of AssImp that have different materials assigned to them
spot light with shadow mapping applied in a deferred way using a G-buffer
the spot creates a volume which is drawn through a volumetric rendering shader. The objects in the scene create a shadow in the volume which creates a nice effect
FXAA is applied in a post-processing step to remove aliasing artifacts
The meshes are transformed into the primitive shapes sphere and box. This is done by computing a key-frame of the objects in primitive form, then interpolating between the frames on the GPU

regen is a portable OpenGL library written in C++. The purpose of the library is to help creating real-time rendering software. You can find the source code of regen on GitHub (daniel86/regen).
