Cambodia #1 🇰🇭 – Cycle Tour Phnom Penh (May’2024)

Crossed the border from Vietnam, and by the 2nd day was in Phnom Penh the capital. On route I stopped at the Killing Fields. A very sombre and thought-provoking memorial that is eerily quiet. It's hard to imagine the atrocities that took place here. Khmer people of Cambodia are incredibly friendly, which is especially remarkable given the extremely tragic recent history. I would encourage you to read a bit more about it to even begin to understand the atrocities and hardships the people of Cambodia had to endure.
