Shaking it up a bit with an attempt at something very different photographically. I do landscapes, not deer...and thus all my choices of kit were poor!

I shoot with the 100-400 lens with an extender and a lot of hope, Ben shoots with an 800 and totally smashes it! Learn 'stuff' about compromising when we compare my kit with Ben's (which I loaned him just to be clear - haha!)

Oh boy, did I learn some lessons that day... but I'll be back (with the 800 lens!)
