Am 17.02.2019 wurde das ehemalige Kraftwerk Gustav Knepper in Castrop-Rauxel / Dortmund gesprengt. Mit über 200 kg Sprengstoff wurden zuerst das 69 Meter hohe Kesselhaus und anschließend der Kühlturm (128 m) sowie der Schornstein (210 m) dem Erdboden gleichgemacht.

On 17.02.2019 the former power plant Gustav Knepper was blown up in Castrop-Rauxel / Dortmund. With more than 200 kg of explosives, the 69 meter high boiler house and then the cooling tower (128 m) and the chimney (210 m) were leveled to the ground.
