Yvel & Tristan are the founder/resident dj/producer duo of Hi!Fly, working together since 2003. The first half of their career was a perpetual joyride full of international successes, suffice to mention their appearances on Global Underground compilations. Since 2009, their productions were released on labels like Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music, Gregor Tresher’s Break New Soil, as well as Frank Lorber’s Nummer Schallplatten. Their latest bomb was an own EP on Butane’s Little Helpers. The key of their fruitful cooperation is the difference in their musical attitude: while Yvel likes to dig deep into the rawest sounds and tear people apart with evil noises, Tristan usually grabs the happy tracks and makes the crowd jump with smiling faces – this is how they complement each other. Since jamming at Hi!Fly events with the likes of Karotte, Reboot, Monika Kruse, Adam Port, &ME, Nick Curly, Mathias Kaden and many more, these top artists are continuously keeping their newest promo tracks in rotation, what more, charting them. After an adventurously busy 2014 summer festival season and with the launch of Hi!Fly Music, things are looking upbeat for the guys.
