1972 Triumph Bonneville T120RV 650 - Part 10 - New Heidenau Tires & brief test ride

We have a new classic motorcycle on the bench! It's a cool 1972 Triumph Bonneville T120V OIF (Oil In Frame) 650cc model in the very distinct tiger gold colour/color.

I haven't used Heidenau tires on my Brit bikes before, but I've seen them on of my friend's bikes and at various events.

I understand that they are very popular with BMW and Japanese motorcycle owners. John and the team from Heidenau kindly sent a couple of tires, inner tubes and rim bands/strips for me to try on the 72 Bonneville!

I initially thought that I would go for the K34 models on front and rear, but Heidenau recommended a K44 on the front and a K36 on the rear wheel:

F: K44 - 3.25 – 19 M/C 54H TL
R: K36 - 4.00 – 18 M/C 64H TL
