Officers responded to a reported accident at the specified location. Upon arrival, they discovered George Conley (suspect) standing with two witnesses beside the vehicle in question. This incident had been reported earlier when the same vehicle allegedly struck multiple cars at Ozzy's Pub, 1390 Brittain Rd., before fleeing southbound on Brittain Rd. (ref report #24-41497).

When officers approached Conley, they noticed he was staggering and struggling to stand without help. They detected the smell of alcohol on him, and he was slurring his words and appeared incoherent. Conley was handcuffed and placed in cruiser 13. After officers read him his Miranda rights, which he understood, Conley admitted to having consumed a large amount of alcohol. Due to Conley’s inability to stand unassisted, officers could not conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs) for safety reasons.

Both witnesses reported that they saw Conley pull into Ozzy's Pub and collide with multiple vehicles before driving southbound on Brittain Rd. and crashing at the listed location. They called 911 and waited for the arrival of police and EMS.

As a result of the accident, officers called for EMS. EMS Med 2 treated and released Conley at the scene. Conley was then taken to the station for a breath analysis, which showed a 0.112 BAC. He was charged with OVI and failure to control and was subsequently released to his daughter.
