Introducing Code 39: Blending Nu Metal with a Passion for Expression

Code 39 is a fresh and invigorating musical project led by a talented individual who has weathered the storms of the music scene and emerged stronger than ever. Born out of a desire to reignite the creative spark and explore new sonic territories, Code 39 is the brainchild of Abel Hinijosa, a passionate vocalist and songwriter with a rich history in the music industry.

Having immersed himself in the vibrant music scene since the tender age of 15, attending electrifying shows at venues like The Rabbit and beyond, Abel initially wielded a guitar before finding his true calling as a vocalist. At the age of 17, he embarked on a journey that would shape his musical path, joining various bands in search of the perfect outlet for his raw energy and emotive prowess.

Then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Code 39 burst onto the scene approximately 6 to 7 months ago. Fuelled by an encounter with the immensely talented producer, songwriter, and engineer Kevin Kerestes, known for his work with Backwordz and KingxCold, Abel seized the opportunity to fully embrace his artistic vision. Determined to forge his own path, he embarked on a transformative journey, collaborating with Kerestes to create a remarkable EP.
