Joanne Elphinston’s deep enchantment with the humanity and privilege of working with movement has led to an unusual breadth of experience over the thirty plus years since she began her professional journey in Australia as a physiotherapist. 
From her many years in elite level performance consultancy in sports and the performing arts to her long standing interests in chronic and complex presentations, Joanne’s path of inquiry lies in what connects us, rather than what divides us in the deeply human experience of movement. Combined with her coaching and philosophy background, this has led to a uniquely unified perspective on our experience as humans moving across the functional spectrum.    
Joanne’s work has underpinned a range of research projects in Sweden from falls prevention and sports assessment to hypermobility, and her books are foundation texts in a number of universities.
