Two friends discover an old ventriloquist dummy in an attic. As they uncover childhood memories, they realize the doll may have influenced their grandfather. They confront their fears and the doll, leading to unexpected consequences.

FULL SYNOPSIS:

Katie and Amber go up to the old, cluttered attic of Katie's suburban house to look for family photos. They come across an old chest and decide to open it. Inside the chest, they find an intricately made ventriloquist dummy named Stunning Stanley.

Amber is immediately fascinated by the doll and lifts it upright, but Katie becomes alarmed and urges her to put it back. She remembers how her grandfather used to behave strangely around the doll which made her uncomfortable. Despite Katie's anxiety, Amber suggests they confront their feelings by talking to the doll.

Later, in the living room, Katie shares the memories of her grandfather and how the doll seemed to have an eerie effect on him. Amber recommends that Katie seek professional help to address her phobia, but Katie insists that it's not about the doll itself but rather her grandfather's unsettling behavior.

Amber proposes that they return to the attic together and confront the doll head-on. She believes that by facing it, Katie can regain control over her fears.
