Full Beginner Shopping List and Tips to Screenshot

Buy your yarn first! This way you know what size hook you need to get for your yarn :)

Yarn DOS:
Medium yarn (size 4)
Bulky yarn (size 5-6 is okay, but might be slightly more difficult)
Look for yarns that don’t split like Cuddle Craft tube by Loops & Threads (similar to the Woobles!)

Yarn DONTS
No fuzzy yarn
No dark color yarns
No super textured yarns
No SUPER bulky yarns
No super fine yarns (DK, size 3 or under)

Once you choose your yarn, the back of the yarn label to see what hook you need to get

Metal hooks!!!!
You can get a hook with or without a handle that is up to whatever feels best for your hands!
I think it can feel better to have a handle when starting out.
