[Unboxing] Whaleboat of New Bedford Amati - Part 1

The whaleboat of new Bedford by Amati is a clinker built model.
The building process is slightly different from the one we are used to, for this reason I would recommend this kit as a second or third model of your ship modelling career! If you're an experienced ship modeller this will be a lot of fun!

A bit of history now =)
Whaleboats used in the 1860 were light and sturdy. Bow and stern were similar so that the boat could easily navigate in both directions. These whaleboats could carry 6 men with more than 40 items with equipment for the boat, the crew and the whale hunting.
