This video was part of the final project for my Fall Sophomore Studio at Pratt.

The project focused on an instrument of choice, for which I chose the theremin, and a client persona that I created. I also selected the film and video department for my client's collaboration with Pratt, since this instrument often appears in film noir soundtracks.

As part of my concept development for designing my client's live-work space, I created this video to explain the collaboration. The documentary created by the students would compare my client's hand motions in playing to those in her daily activities, to show how her musical expertise manifests in her every day life.

The concept of tension, relaxation, and fluidity that is found in my client's playing style is what ultimately governed my final design.
