Gibbs Gardens spans over 300 acres and is considered one of the largest residential gardens in the United States. It was created by Jim Gibbs, a former homebuilder, who spent several decades designing and developing the property.

As you walk through the gardens, you'll encounter a stunning array of blooms that change with the seasons. In the spring, you’ll see thousands of azaleas, tulips, daffodils, camellias. In the fall wildflowers, Water lilies, Japanese maples.

The Japanese Garden at Gibbs Gardens offers a peaceful retreat inspired by traditional Japanese design. It features a serene koi pond, beautiful cherry blossoms in spring, and iconic stone lanterns. The garden’s design emphasizes balance, harmony, and mindfulness.

Water is a key feature throughout the garden, with streams and waterfalls adding to its peaceful ambiance. The garden also uses natural filtration systems to keep the ponds clean and healthy for the fish and aquatic plants.

Gibbs Gardens is famous for its incredible 20 million daffodils, making it one of the biggest displays in the country. These gorgeous flowers spread across 50 acresof hills, meadows, and wooded areas.

The daffodils were lovingly planted by Jim Gibbs himself, and they bloom from late February through March, signaling the start of spring. They are absolutely beautiful and symbolize renewal and hope.

The Manor House Gardens at Gibbs Gardens showcase a mix of formal and informal designs, with colorful flowerbeds, stone terraces, and elegant fountains.
