Holmer harvesters from Germany were first shown in the UK in 1994 and the first to bear the Terra-Dos name appeared two years later. This was the original Holmer Terra-Dos which featured, along with an increase in tank capacity, the ability to ‘crab’ along the field while lifting to spread the machine’s weight over a larger area. This 1998 example was working in the UK in 2010 when it was recorded for the Beet Harvesters in Britain DVD series.
