If you own a Chromecast, eventually you'll have to change the batteries in the remote. I've owned mine for several years and now it's telling me the batteries are low. So in this short video I'll show you exactly how replace them.

The remote is pretty minimalistic but on the back you'll see a dimple right in the middle. To remove the battery cover, put slight pressure on this and slide the cover towards the bottom of the remote. This remote uses 2 AAA batteries which I've listed here in the description so it's easy for you to find!

With the fresh batteries, insert the negative side first over the spring. Then just slide the cover back on starting from the bottom of the Chromecast remote. And that's it!
