Texas Theme Cigar Box per request | Repurposed | Rustic Art w/ Acrylic & Clay | Flag Rose Cactus ❤️

I had a request to do a Texas theme box.

My obvious choice was to use the Texas flag and Yellow Rose but she also wanted me to incorporate her cactus garden.

This was to be a challenge! 🤓

As a surprise, I added Romans 8:28 Bible verse because we seem to send this verse back and forth to each other a lot and it makes me think of her.
“All Good Things”

I left a lot of the inlaid characteristics of the cigar box exposed as well as the bottom. I like people to know this was indeed a cigar box.

All boxes I purchase from my local cigar shop use the proceeds to send military that are deployed cigars so I’m happy to do so and have been doing this for 15 years now.

Also, I purposely left the verse crooked because I don’t like things to be exact when it comes to art. I prefer flaws so to speak. It’s a constant reminder to me that we are human and we are always working on improvement. Weird analogy I know 🥸
