It was a fantastic experience to use the BMC stock replacement filter for the first time! I was just like in trance to see that, even after secondary drive ratio reduction with 14-46 sprocket, with a stock ecu and exhaust, the throttle response become magical!

In order to feel the magical change, just go beyond 80 and put the bike directly into 6th gear, then relax, you do not need to duck, just open the throttle gradually, and it will easily take you to 130 straight, without even the need to duck, that was a sheer improvement given there is no stage 1 upgrade like ffe or ecu remap.

The BMC stock replacement air filter guarantees upto 7 micron particle filtration provided it is oiled properly while the stock paper one stops at 10microns only. The free flow filter also guarantees atleast 30% more air flow over the stock highly restrictive filter, which is very useful in both sudden wide throttle and top end rpms.

Some of you may worry about a hissing or whistle like sound after installing it, but don't worry! It's quite common in high performance air filters as the stock filter is also designed to suppress the intake noise. Think of it as mini turbo ;)

A delightful and worthful upgrade, if you take proper care of it.

BMC air filters are produced using a "Full Moulding" system that enables the characteristic red filter to be realized from a single mould with no welded joints thus avoiding easy breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems has a long life, is very durable and has optimum adhesion characteristics to all shapes of airboxes.

BMC filters are made of a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh to ensure protection from petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity.

All BMC air filters are pre-oiled, and they can be washed and regenerated by using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
