The Time We Risked Our Lives On The Santorini Donkey Path O' Death

Join Jodi and Kandy as we recount our harrowing journey on the Donkey Path (o'death) in Santorini, Greece. There are two ways to get down to the cruise port of Fira, Santorini, Greece: Cable Car or Donkey Path. Booking our catamaran excursion in Santorini, we purposely booked an excursion that would tender us to our ship, thereby avoiding the need to take a cable car or donkey path altogether. However, while disembarking our catamaran we discovered that we were no longer being tendered, and would have to take either the cable car or Donkey path to get back to the port to tender to the ship. In this episode we will describe our journey walking down the donkey path (o'death): why we made decision to walk down the donkey path rather than take cable cars or ride on the donkeys, and how that turned out to be a historic mistake nearly ended in catastrophe.
