MBLEx Review: Local Contraindication Vs. Systemic Contraindication in Massage Therapy

In this video, we discuss the difference between a local contraindication and a systemic contraindication in massage therapy.

A local contraindication is any reason to avoid a certain area of the body during a massage.

A systemic contraindication is any reason to avoid the entire body. Also known as a "General Contraindication"

In this video I will give explains on a few explains of the difference between the two, as well as why it is important that we are able to have an understanding of the importance of knowing whether or not to massage a prospect client.

And the end of the video we will do a quick review, where I will test your knowledge on whether the example is a local contraindication or systemic contraindication for massage therapy services.
