Sales funnels are the steps a prospect takes from prospect to customer, guiding them toward purchases at each stage.
A well-designed funnel identifies the actions needed by your organization to move prospects forward.

The main steps of prospect funnel are :

Awareness
Interest
Decision
Action

The prospecting funnel involves many activities that don’t always lead to a sale; in fact, when not done correctly, it’s wasted activity, driving up the true cost of sales.

In sales, it's one of the toughest aspects to master, because there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach, but when you get it right, it helps you build the rest of the funnel.
