Hi All, i'm quite pleased with how this worked out by accident
The adding of the upper and lower screw boss metal extension tube to lock the hull together from twisting and lateral movement of the top deck i think is helpful, and the magnets pull them together.
And id highly recommend keeping at least 2 screw holes to really make sure you don't forget and rip all your wires out the control board.
Its really not a faff to undo 2 screws, replacing a board and re wiring is!.
The tubing just need to be able to push over the bosses and the magnets, and to fit inside of each other, so whats below is a guide, go to your local model shop and fine some there.
