Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar who is likely to become the president of Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover was an Afghan fighter who co founded the Taliban with Mullah Omar. He was captured in Pakistan by ISI and CIA in 2010 and was released in 2018 reportedly on American request.

Zabiullah Mujahid is  official spokesmen for the Taliban. He revealed himself to the public on August 17, Prior to that, he regularly communicated with journalists and spoke on behalf of the Taliban. In his press conference which was attended by foreign press, he addressed the questions and spelled out the main elements of a Taliban led government in Afghanistan.
Muhammad Suhail Shaheen is an Afghan politician who currently serves as the Taliban spokesperson in the Qatar office. Suhail has been speaking to the press and giving interviews to international media organisations including some from India over the last few days.

Sirajuddin Haqqani the leader of the Haqanni neteork had previously overseen armed combat against American and coalition forces, . He is currently deputy leader under the Taliban supreme commander.

Sirajuddin Haqqani was also on news when he wrote an opinion piece "What We, the Taliban, Want", which appeared on the New York Times on February 20, 2020.
