RWBY OC Weapon animation: Ninth Life

And after 6 long months, 'soon' is finally today!!

Ninth Life is a break-action 8-shot revolver chambered in .44 Magnum equivalent. It has a collapsible blade affixed to the bottom of its barrel, as well as an articulated grip allowing for it to shift into a more ergonomic format for a bladed weapon. The blade can extend either one or all of its 5 segments, allowing Ninth Life to take the form of a bowie-sized knife or a dueling saber. The firing mechanism functions when the blade is extended, with hollow point full-dust bullets often used with Ninth Life shattering and augmenting the blade while still preserving the kickback of the shot's recoil.

Ninth Life's wielder, Vera Seville, named it for its "Nine methods of taking a life" in reference to its blade and 8 cartridges.

Vera's semblance, "Flashing Before your Eyes," falls into the subset of Speed semblances, though instead of providing her entire body with increased speed, it allows her to slow her personal perception of time by half. The increased ability to at least perceive threats as well as strategize with two times as much time as the average person allows Vera to have catlike reflexes reminiscent of her Faunus trait, feline ears.
