Hennessey Performance is a well-known name in the world of high-performance vehicles, renowned for their ability to transform ordinary cars into high-performance beasts. However, what really sets them apart is their pursuit of building one of the fastest road-legal hypercars ever made – the Venom F5. This hypercar is a true marvel of engineering, powered by a bespoke twin-turbo V8 engine called the Fury that churns out a mind-boggling 1,817 horsepower. Now Hennessey has a history of building hypercars, and their most successful project to date was the Venom GT. Which set a Guinness World Record for the fastest road-legal car from 0–186 mph (0–300 km/h) in 2013, with an average acceleration time of 13.63 seconds. Following the success of the Venom GT, Hennessey went on to develop other epic projects like the Exorcist and Mammoth, but all of them were based on existing performance vehicles.

But what makes the Venom F5 truly special is that Hennessey has designed it entirely from scratch, instead of modifying existing performance cars. The centerpiece of this hypercar is the Fury, this hand-built powerplant, which features an all-new cast-iron block and aluminum cylinder heads with canted titanium intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves with dual springs. It has the same 104.8 mm cylinder bore as the LS7 that it is based on which means that the displacement it is down from the Venom GT 7.0 liters, But the smaller 6.6 liter V8 drop in displacement is compensated for by Hennessey by adding a pair of ceramic-coated Precision turbochargers with 76 mm billet aluminum compressor wheels, they also raised the redline to a whopping 8,200 rpm redline. The result of all of this? well the total power output of this monster engine is 1,817 hp and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. But power isn’t the only important thing when building a big power V8 engine. The thing needs to last especially because it’s a production engine. Customers don’t want to blow up the engine, so They also added a dry-sump system to ensure flawless lubrication at mind-blowing speeds.

Now Customers can choose between a 7-speed single-clutch automated manual, which sends all of that 1800hp to the rear wheels only. Which seems a little silly, and quite dangerous. anyways this engine is developed to be used in the F5 which is a 1.3 ton hypercar specifically build to take the record for being the fastest production car from Bugatti.
