June 21, 2005 - Hoping to close out the Detroit Pistons in six, San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan churned out his most efficient performance of the 2005 NBA Finals, finishing with 21 points (8-of-14 shooting) and 15 rebounds. Alas, his efforts came up short as the Pistons lived to fight another day with a 95-86 Game 6 victory.

With 27 points (10-of-27 shooting) and 11 rebounds in the clincher, Duncan was named Finals MVP. Over the course of the seven-game series, he averaged a team-high 20.6 points, 14.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks.
