Meet Nom: Food and the Future of Live Video | SXSW Interactive 2016

When Steve Chen, Co-Founder and CTO of YouTube, along with Vijay Karunamurthy saw that users began hacking live/direct interaction with a video's host through YouTube's comment feature, they knew there was a product solution. During this fireside chat, Steve will trace the origins of YouTube through today's content platforms, and unveil his new product, Nom -- a live, interactive video platform focused (at least for now) on the food community.
