We venture hundreds of miles from Denver to the rugged San Juan mountains in Southwest Colorado to hit the historic Alpine Loop trail from Silverton to Lake City - with some epic fall foliage to boot!

Originally paths made by Native Americans, these trails were widened and used to access mines during the 1880s gold rush, and are now popular backcountry and overlanding routes.

Climbing over 12,800 feet, Engineer Pass is considered the most challenging trail along this route, and although not significantly difficult, our Black Edition walks over it with ease. This truck regularly tows 35,000 pounds, has carried over 10,000 pounds in the bed, climbed Top Of The World trail in Moab, has the same turning radius as a short bed Tacoma, and drives smoother than an F-150. Black Editions just do it better.
