Rainger FX: Pull Focus // Distortion, Sustainer, With Reverb & Chorus

The Rainger FX Pull Focus expands on the company’s groundbreaking Break Box concept, with a fat, high-gain distortion circuit married to a selectable chorus or gated reverb effect that fades in for active sustain as the note dies, like a wave lifting you up and pushing you toward the shore. Pull Focus features a gentle, musical noise gate (with selectable sensitivity via the top button) to keep things quiet between notes, and its all-analog distortion circuit recalls Rainger’s El Distorto and Freakenbender pedals, while the reverb is from their beloved Reverb-X. In this demo we’ll put the Pull Focus to use in a post-punk-ish full band context, on both bass and guitar, then we’ll focus in close on the control set.
