Just drove over 1 hour to pick this set up. The weight is not too bad for a 27" flat screen crt. I went out of my way on this due to one sold on internet for around $400. After I got home, I read Amazon reviews which were not too encouraging for this model. However, my experience looks like it has excellent color, contrast and sound that rivals Sony Trinitron. It has many ports including S-video, Component and Coaxial as well as HDMI. So far I am satisfied aside from the black bands at top and bottom of the screen (and cosmetic chipped lower right corner). Feel free to share your opinions :)
