Baleen performs "Sprit Divides," a single off their forthcoming debut LP.

Baleen somehow occupy two worlds at the same time, much like a mythical, mystical beast of the sea. They have all of the wondrous roiling fuzz and wall of distortion that brings to mind our favorite shoegaze bands over the last decades, but they manage to bring more joy to the music than seems possible. Theirs is the sound of soaring.

Captured live off the floor at Ghost Hit Recording, a residential recording studio built into an old church in Western Massachusetts. Beautifully shot 8mm and digital photography by our in-house video team.
