HOW TO GO HATYAI BY ETS TRAIN?
FROM KL SENTRAL ➜ PADANG BESAR?

1. Buy a ticket from https://online.ktmb.com.my/
2. On the departure date, reach KL Sentral 1 hour before and wait at Gate B.
3. Crew will bring you to the ETS Platform.
4. ETS departs on time from KL Sentral Station.
5. ETS will stop at 13 stations before reaching Padang Besar Station.
6. There is a cafeteria on the train, and you can buy some drinks/ food/snacks to eat.
7. The ETS took about 5.30 hours to reach Padang Besar from KL Sentral station.
6. After arriving at Padang Besar KTM station, once you walk out from the station, you will see a counter selling VIP Van tickets at RM30 per pax.
7. This VIP Van will transfer you from Padang Besar to your hotel (Padang Besar KTM ➜ Border Malaysia ➜ Border Thai ➜ Your Hotel).
8. Fill in the immigration form, after buying the van ticket.
9. Then inform the driver your hotel, then he will drop you at your hotel.
10. It took about 1 hour to reach Hatyai town from Padang Besar (depending on the traffic/customs clearance).
11. Remember don't throw the van ticket, as you will need it for the return van booking.

HOW TO GO PADANG BESAR FROM HATYAI?

1. The day before, scan the bar code on the van ticket you purchase on the first day at the Padang Besar KTM station.
2. Then book the VIP Van transfer to pick you up from your hotel to Padang Besar KTM.
3. Things you need to do is WhatsApp them the following details:

4. After that they will inform you what time to wait at the hotel lobby for the pick up with the Van plate number.
5. Then the next day, they will pick up you from the hotel on time and transfer you to the Padang Besar KTM at 300THB per pax.
